We are proud of our first two graduates from The Glenda Joyce School who are attending college this fall. Mi”Kel Hendrix will be a freshman at Tusculum University in Tennessee. He will be playing on a scholarship for their football program. Also, Desmon Self (West Palm Beach, FL) will be attending Edward Waters Univesity and playing on a scholarship for their football program.
The goal of any successful high school program is graduation and matriculation to the next level, college or university study. At Glenda Joyce, our goal is to be a prep school for just those goals. Our aim is to equip the young people we educate to be ready to tackle the academic load of any college or university. For our students who are advanced, we can use dual-enrollment programs at additional no cost, to ensure they begin earning college credits before ever stepping onto college campuses and thus saving money on tuition.
In our first year, we sent both of our graduates to college. We’re excited about their futures and where God is taking them on their educational paths.
